I know but Qwest lays it out for us exactly what is expected with our attendance. So, it's completely in the employees control to comply with that (or not to). Sometimes...you just have to come to work sick if you don't have sick time. We are adults and this is what adulthood is like sometimes. Unfortunately, I had no sick time available last February so I had to come to work anyway and be miserable. It was awful, but it had to be done. That's just life sometimes.
