I thought it was cute. It was the typical Disney film with all the songs and the falling in love. . .BUT it had a moral behind it, and it WAS cute. Definitely one of the BEST Disney films I have seen in a while. . .

Well, for a family flick, this actually did not seem to be too bad, even though, it appeared more enjoyment would come from those who have seen a lot of Disney movies.

it did kind of make fun of itself with things that happen therein

I've only seen previews so about the only thing I have to say is that James Marsden looks better in sunglasses and a leather jacket than a prince's outfit.

I DETEST Susan Sarandon so much that I can't bring myself to watch this movie.

I didn't even REALIZE it was her! And she is barely in it.

She's still in it and that's enough for me.

You mean Tim Robbins? I agree if that is who you mean.

I actually ended up catching this movie from middle on, and while extremely predictible, I think it was well done. I say predictible due to the fact that seeing the first part of it was not necessary for me to follow and understand the rest of the movie.

Also, I was able to see past the Disney to find a charming movie under it. The character and plot developement was decent given what they were playing with, and for the most part, the actors were able to hit their mark to bring their character together.
